Actualization of Creative Solutions needs a Creative Approach. Getting things right require the pieces to fit together like a puzzle, and finding which piece to place where is the key. So firstly, put all you pieces i.e. ideas/solutions on the table, assess them, not as someone else's solution but as "a solution" out of many. Asses the viability and feasibility of all the solutions placed in front without a bias. Collaborate, amalgamate, integrate your multiple solutions into - one best solution É voilà you have achieved your goal as a TEAM.

Really depends on the type of creative. For Ads, the only way to choose is to A/B test. Some of my best-performing e-commerce ads are ideas I would have been fired for suggesting 20 years ago. If it is for a product you have not made yet you can create mock ads. Additionally, you can create a matrix around your creative needs for discussion which might include: Business Goals, Brand Enhancement, Audience Goals, Message Clarity, Emotional Impact, Differentiation, Execution Feasibility, Long Term Adaptability and specific KPI's. Have each team member score or comment on how well each creative option meets the criteria, then focus on what falls short. Creative is a ready, fire aim business so cognitive flexibility is essential ;-)

I just did some training for using Game Play as a tools to make students learn in a collaborative way! That can totally be used in any settings to help people communicate clearly, marching together toward a common goal and have fun together, which create team bonding. Always better to learn while playing and laughing. The suggestions of games are endless, the one that stands out are jeopardy, baton race, brainstorm an amount of ideas in less than 5 minutes ( 1 point par ideas, for example) the winning team gets to chose the final project or whatever…

Figure out what, if any constraints there are, regarding how folks feel about their respective creative spaces and determine whether this is related to a difference in creative approach. Seems like the question is framed w a context of, there are differences in creative process - what if thats a good thing that can be leveraged vs we need to unify to move forward... like creativity is typically synergistic in my xp. If there was some.type of bloc I'd maybe recommend reading The Music Lesson.

Facilitate an open discussion to align on the project's objectives, encourage collaboration by combining ideas, and focus on the shared goal. Use data or audience insights to guide decisions and emphasize that the best solution serves the brand's success, not individual preferences.

Unify a divided creative team by clarifying the shared goal, fostering open dialogue, and finding common ground through collaborative brainstorming. Remind the team to look at the bigger picture—it's not about personal wins but about completing the goals, which will be a win for everyone. Encourage choosing what’s best for the team rather than solutions that feed individual egos. Leverage team strengths, use visual tools, and celebrate small wins to build alignment and momentum.

I believe by having a strong identity as a creative tech studio - with a clear vision and purpose - the work we do from within this environment and culture will share a common methodology and character. So when tensions between different creative approaches rise up, we will always have a shared framework to fall back to and re-unite us. It allows us to clearly evaluate the different approaches, matching them to our framework and deciding collectively which are the best ones based on who we are and how it relates to the detailed strategy work we have worked on with the client beforehand.

Depends on who is your team. If we are talking about a Management Board, the best solution goes with a voting, and once is selected the preferable option, you can try to implement certain ideas of the alternative. If we are talking about different levels, the best solution as you are the leader you should take the decision, however make sure that your colleagues feel heard and you explain your final take transparently!

When my team is divided on creative solutions: I encourage open dialogue – Let everyone voice their ideas freely. I clarify the common goal – Align everyone towards the bigger picture. I promote collaboration – Pair team members with different perspectives to brainstorm together. Focusing on communication and shared goals helps drive unity and innovation.
