Before we start collecting data, we need to identify source of data (after reviewing all available sources) so as to get correct data timely for further processing. In case we have data conflict from various sources, we need not worry but reconfirm accuracy and authenticity of our data sources If the sources and data are authentic, we need not worry about data conflict. Many times just to divert our attention some one may try to confuse us. Once our data accuracy and data authenticity is confirm we need to concentrate on our task without getting confused.
