If you have a tight deadline, sit down and prioritize your project task list, this will help you understand what is most important to do before release and what can be rolled out later Also plan with the team, have everyone talk about how many tasks they can fit into each sprint (you may want to re-prioritize them relative to their capabilities) Then commit with the team what you will do and start working, after each sprint do a retrospective to see what problems occurred and how not to get them again

I would put in some extra time to help meet the deadline. I respect my supervisor and he has helped me out many times so if it there was tension because of a deadline, Just put in some overtime and get things done.
