To help the team and clients agree on 3D modeling ideas, I need to focus on clear communication and early feedback. First, I’ll ask the client what they want, then show them simple sketches or basic models to make sure I am on the right track. Step-by-step, I’ll keep them updated on my progress and get their input before I move too far ahead. If there are technical issues, I’ll explain why some ideas might be tricky and offer similar options that could work better. Regular meetings help keep everyone on the same page, and clear notes from each meeting make sure nothing is forgotten. This way, both sides understand each other better, helping me work together smoothly.

During the design phase of a project the client should regularly be included in the progress of the design and be given an opportunity to give inputs as to specific expectations from their side. Therefore it is crucial to have a meaningful and thorough model review at different stages of the project. Making use of review software like Autodesk Navisworks, CADWorx design review, ect. will assist tremendously with the visual aid part of the review. Taking encompassing model review tags/minutes will ensure that all client expectations are met with minimum rework. In turn ensuring satisfaction for both parties.

In this session, we will present clear visual examples and simplified explanations, encouraging questions and discussions. Additionally, I will provide reference materials for everyone to revisit the discussed concepts. This collaborative approach will help ensure that both the team and clients are on the same page.

3D modelling can be a very broad topic so I will focus on my niche of work which is using point cloud data as a reference for creating 3D models. My approach would be better identifying the client needs. 3D models can have different levels of detail which will directly dictate the effort required to produce the models. Showing the client examples of the different levels of detail will help them to decide which option will best fit their needs. Also explaining the accuracy of the models can prevent further issues.

When faced with differences between team and client perspectives, I prioritize clear communication and proactive engagement by scheduling regular meetings to keep all parties aligned on project milestones, using visual aids like sketches or preliminary 3D models to clarify complex ideas, and encouraging open feedback to address concerns early, which fosters collaboration and promotes project cohesion.

If a situation like arises. First I will try to understand what the clients are looking for and what their expectations are. Any reference they would like to provide. Probably Have a meeting with the clients and team to clear any doubts from either client or the team. Then work with the team to meet the clients expectations as closely as possible. Assuring the clients that they will receive what they have asked for and encouragement to the team.

First I check the model and it's complexity, then I found out the basic solutions (may be one or many) and setup a quick meeting with client and team members to discuss over these solutions and find out the most appropriate design which suits the constructability, value engineering and no doubt this solution should be cost effective.

Use analogies or practical examples to demystify technical details, making sure clients feel included and informed.

The first thing to cover misunderstanding in the project is, communication between the project team and client. Mostly while we are developing new products, at that time there are very few inputs from the client and our developing process is going to be somewhere and client requirements are going to be some different ways. In those criteria we have to set a kick-off meeting, weekly meetings, discussions on concept development, etc are necessary to discuss with the client. Clarity on every idea with yourself and the client is the most important part of our project.

We must ensure that we are adhering to the BIM Execution Plan and the BIM modelling guidelines constructed at the beginning of the Project. We must have regular meetings and discussions on the process and procedures followed and if at any point there seems to be a better conventional method of doing the job that helps both the parties achieve the goal, we shall have a discussion, where all the advantages and disadvantages are looked upon. Or if there is a situation where difficult shapes needs to be achieved, then all the options possible to achieve the product shall be discussed in depth with sample/conceptual models to again discuss the pros n cons of each methodology and should follow the one which suits best for the project
