Usually, I'm an example of professionalism for my subordinates. They listen to me and follow my advice and my lead. And with my help and guidance, my co-workers want to learn much new stuff that will help them to become better professionals. If someone in your team lacks motivation, don't waste your and your company's time and resources and just let these people go. You'll do a favor for the sides yours, employers, and the person you're letting go - the might look in different directions and find the job they are passionate about and it might be a different business area and skill set for them.
