Its important to understand and asses the magnanimity of the glitch. Take the task on highest priority, by having conversation with respective team and understand, what all best solutions available to correct the issue, without compromising on an outcome. In such situation, you shouldn't delegate this, as its a matter of trust, reputation and commitment. As they say, breakdown the problems, narrow in the action. Assign expert in correcting the glitch and monitor progress yourself. Simultaneously, do share the same with stake holders, as they should not be surprised, if in case, you were unable to sort the glitch and may delay the project. If it is a technical challenge that relies on outside parties (i.e. integrations) that is tough and may not be feasible to meet a deadline. If it is internal to the team or company, then requesting help from outside teams or asking for extra effort from those not necessarily on the project may be needed. As soon as "at risk" is identified, being transparent to the stakeholders is necessary.
