If you've lost their trust in on solution, you will have to see if they will look at a different one and that you assure them that you will test it once a month to make sure that it will restore the way you want it too.

Reliability of cloud backup are only as good as your process of restorations. I have seen regular backup been taken all the time, but hardly any to no restoration testing ever done. The only way to assure your client is to first build amn automated backup solution and then test it. Once tested, the results of the test can be shared as a report and that is the best way to regain trust.
