"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," and nowhere is this truer than in cybersecurity. When a client doesn’t prioritize security, it’s essential to proactively build safeguards. In my experience, establishing baseline protections—like strong password policies, regular data backups, and secure access controls—can minimize risks without major client buy-in. One thing I find helpful is to present data on potential impacts, like downtime costs or reputation damage, making security tangible for the client. A common mistake is ignoring these issues altogether; instead, implement fundamental protections to ensure sensitive data remains secure, even if it’s behind the scenes.

This is something we unfortunately see everyday. We find that many prospects do not value cybersecurity until they experience a breach. We like to educate our prospects on the risks, vulnerabilities, and threats that can impact their business operations and data without proper cybersecurity practices and controls. Once we provide education, our prospects typically allocate the proper budget and resources for a cybersecurity maturity level assessment. At the completion of this assessment, we can work with the prospect to develop a roadmap of people, process, and technology to implement the required controls to mitigate cyber risks.

Quando pensamos em segurança, não existe"difícil" existe apenas, temos que nos adequar. 2 - Conscientização sobre segurança cibernética deve ser uma campanha infinita, sempre reforçando sua importância.

Clients actually think they can have a robust, hack-free account when there’s no vivid implementation of cybersecurity measures, but no! In all my active workspaces, I May sure cybersecurity is a necessity whether the client likes it or not. The rate of data breach has increased massively so I don’t joke with that at all.
