First of all, you need to understand if this project could be a part of the long-term relationship or if it's a one-off deal. Secondly, you have to understand the liability part. If you are doing a consultancy or implementation work for government, national holdings or international groups etc. You should be aware of the fact that you could be penalties for you if your team would be running behind the schedule, or you have to adjust your deliverables if the Client wouldn't be happy with the outcomes. And this potentially could not only bring you a negative margin, but also a penalty fee that you or your company have to pay to the Client.
