First thing to remember is whatever you put out on social media will stick out there forever whatever you will not share in a professional setting do not share it online . Never share when you are too angry too flustered too emotional . The rule of thumb is wait at least 24 hours and see how you feel and then calmly approach the matter. Always share with an objective never to just create clout . Your personal brand can definitely take you places you never thought possible but at the same time one bad post and your career can be damaged .

Avoid controversies and maintain a polished digital presence with an up-to-date professional profile. With these practices, it is possible to build a respectable and influential presence on social media.

Well it is tricky as now personal pains and challenges are used in marketing strategies. However there also we can draw a line between personal life experiences utilized for branding vs too much sharing that doesn't contribute or help in branding rather you demean yourself by sharing it. You need to check and if you realize that it is something that doesn't contribute to your purpose of being on the social media, STOP don't post.
