As someone that has been around for quite some time in this space, there is always something to learn. I'm finding that I'm learning quite a bit from my students with little to no experience asking the questions with curiosity of "why do you do that?" I sometimes have to stop and think, even asking them, "what do you see" or getting to the root of their question with another open ended question. I am also a lifelong learner. Never stop reading and learning. While it's nice to have a credential or degree, there are so many opportunities to learn. But, make sure from credible sources. If there is a study, what was the criteria for that study? If there is a white paper, how did they back up their hypotheses and assertions?

Sometimes, someone who doesn't have "habits" may achieve better results by allowing themselves to approach the problem differently.

In this exponentially changing world, nobody is solely a mentor; Everybody learns from each other. My perspective is that if our seeking is genuine, we will receive the right guidance. The moment we label ourselves as mentors, the learning halts. Do not approach people with a motive. Instead, keep sharing your insights, and we will receive the right feedback at the right time to validate our assumptions. This is the stepping stone of continuous learning! Learning truly shines when we are ready to serve others!

Mentorship happens at all levels of your career, not just from a "senior level" person or executive to a "junior level" person. There several folks I'm getting some mentorship in, for example, social media, which is not my strong point. Look for the person that has the experience and perspective that can be helpful for you. Further, don't be afraid to have more than one mentor. No one person "has it all." I've got several mentors I'm working with right now, each with their own unique skillset. I do let those mentors know, however, up front that I'm working with other mentors, as the conversation naturally progresses.

It is important to understand that every team tends to embrace Agile methodologies on their own terms, doing their best to adapt their company culture and previous ways of working to more Agile ways of working. Thus, when discussing another team's Agile approaches, be sure be sure to raise many 'why' questions to better understand causal rationale for their ways of working and to gain more objective value from the collaboration.
