Or if you have the same element several times in the same assembly, then number them logically.

I have a standard convention that I follow for all of my projects, which is client_name/project_name. Inside this folder, you will find various folders organized in the following manner: - 00 Project Assets (which contains all data provided by the client) - 01 Concept 1 - 02 Concept 2 - 01 Prototype 1 - and so on. This helps keep the project organized and easily accessible.

It’s not rocket science. You have to work within the limits of MS Windows and its 256 character limit on file names. Keep file names and folder paths short. And keep them simple.

It is highly recommended to save your files and data on both a hardware storage device and a cloud-based platform in order to prevent data loss.
