We’ve implemented some simple yet impactful rules: 1️⃣ Video On: In weekly meetings, you must have your video on to speak—building trust through face-to-face interaction 2️⃣ Document First: No design discussions happen without prior documentation. 3️⃣ Wiki Agreements: All agreements and disagreements must be on the wiki before meetings. A personal favourite is our "User Manual" Each new joiner writes about their working style, preferences, favorite memes, preferred food, feedback tips, ... and reads "User Manuals" of other on the team.

Maybe it's about better use of async tools, clearer meeting cadences, or more intentional check-ins. When the team defines their own approach, they take ownership of it, leading to stronger connections and smoother collaboration — no matter where they are.
