Struggling to blend traditional and digital art techniques?

I actually do original figure drawings, scan them and make multiple changes to them in Illustrator and Photoshop, to meet my requirements for composition,etc. and when I have an acceptable composition, move this to a painting. I do the same with my original photographs of live models.

I actually work the opposite way by creating a digital image and then printing the image or images and using the print as whole or in parts when constructing a new work. I glue and collage the digital pieces into my canvas or board applying paint, gels, and texture via brushes and other found objects like a comb or stick

I actually agree with these techniques and in addition, I will recommend the use of Texture Mapping; a technique for applying traditional textures to digital art. A combination of printed digital elements mixed with traditional art media like oil, acrylic, pastel and charcoal, creates interesting mixed media art.

Existen herramientas de pago, gratuitas e incluso open source, todo dependerá del dominio que las personas, o su equipo tenga para el manejo de esas herramientas multimediales, o en el caso de ser un emprendedor/a, trabajando solo sin equipo, de su dominio en el manejo de las herramientas... ¿importan?, claro que sí, sin embargo, hay que poder incluir las herramientas de IA - AI, para ganar tiempo y también, por supuesto, saber dominarlas. Se cuentan con multiplicidad de herramientas, todas a un click de distancia. La otra opción es "delegar" las tareas multimediales en personal idóneo, con mucha experiencia en el dominio de diversas herramientas multimediales.

Personally I have developed my own best practice from experience. 1. Establish clear workflows. It is important to know your way around the task. 2. Define roles and responsibilities. It helps to know what software you need for specific tasks. 3. Set deadlines and milestones. Create a timeline, so that you don't over stay in a particular task. Time management is crucial. 4. Use templates and style guides. There's nothing wrong in consulting useful materials that serves your purpose. 5. Regularly review and refine workflows. Do it again, again and again! Tweak the process! 6. Be consistent.
