Dans un contexte international l’anglais reste un langage universel. Cependant, il se peut que certains de nos partenaires ne le maîtrisent pas parfaitement. Il est important d’éviter de nuancer ses propos et de s’assurer que la personne en face a bien compris votre point de vue. Cela fera gagner énormément de temps et d’argent. Dans certains contextes il est nécessaire d’avoir une vue d’ensemble de la culture de la personne en face et de s’y adapter. L’idéal est donc d’utiliser des termes simples et génériques pour mener à bien les négociations tout en évitant de heurter son interlocuteur. Maîtriser le contexte et s’adapter sont la clé de succès pour une communication et donc une négociation aboutie.
