I think it’s a combination of the IT tool and what you do with the tool. I am a fan of keeping it simple. A straightforward MS Teams meeting gives the visuals and the ability to bring everyone figuratively together by careful management of the agenda. Make time for light hearted moments and for time to explore an issue that requires lateral thinking. This is an ideal time platform for all to safely throw there two cents worth without fear or favour. Giving one or two of the team a specific topic/task is recommended. This means that there will be others who are as invested in the meeting as you are. Inspiring your team to partake and listen intently is the way that you bring them along and get optimal input and collaboration.
