Democracy of languages helps a team of individuals if we inculcate the importance of learning new languages and sharing it with all. Also the team shall be motivated to learn and work in few languages with benefits in periodic intervals. Learning two new languages shall be a mandatory parameter to grow in the same institution. May take time but it will happen since it will benefit all three stakeholders- The individual, the BPO and the Clients

Language is no more a barrier in this digital world. We find so many online tools and apps for language translation that help us understand if our team/client shares a piece of content that is non-English. Also, in this tech industry, everyone understands English being an International language, if they can't speak it fluently. Organizations should focus on multi-lingual trainings and should encourage native language writing for communication and sharing collateral. For everything else, we have AI :)

These are my personal learnings after having handling the team across non English speaking regions, English speaking regions are straight forward 1. AI Translation Tools: 2. Buddy System: use exchange programs with English speaking resources 3. Visual Communication: Use visuals, infographics, and videos in training and communication to bypass language limitations and enhance understanding. 4. Regular Check-Ins: Conduct frequent one-on-one check-ins to address language-related challenges and gather feedback on communication effectiveness. 5. Gamified Language Learning : Introduce gamified language learning platforms to encourage team members to learn each other’s languages in an engaging way.

Ultimately, clear expectations, ongoing training, and a supportive environment are key to overcoming these challenges effectively.

Understanding the commercials we support is very critical in the BPO and they play a pivotal role beyond transaction processing, they offer the last mile support be it proprietary tool from a third-party or a product gap(Workflow) and are pivotal for an organization’s growth and sustenance 1. Understanding the changing Markets, competitive analysis 2. Aligning with business dynamics cost and revenue growth 3. Managing the risks top of the line services, products and bridging the gaps / strategize Evaluating this timely every quarter, there will be alignment or re-alignment every quarter, numbers will talk for themselves, this will bring out a strong culture where everyone is entitled

Action speaks louder than the words. Diverse language is not a big challenge if the employees are perfectly routed with the organisational goal. A true harmony within the team can break any barriers. To create a bond within the team with diverse languages we can create a multilingual training program for the employees along with cross language training.
