Often in the automation we miss the overall objective and end up in matrices which are not relevant and do not yield results. Best thing with the Digital Technologies & Data Analytics moving into Manufacturing Arena is that one can challenge Basic Processes for hidden inefficiencies within the designed Processes itself. Typically when any Machine/Method is looked deeply we can bring out many horrible things hidden under Carpet in the name of Process design/Automation as my experience says that even in the Best Designed Processes/Automations Real Value add part is never more than 40-50%. Thus these Digital Technologies & Data Analytics have challenged the Basics of Machine Designs from Productivity perspectives besides capturing the Qualitative scenario or Process Capabilities & thus Manufacturing costs can be drastically cut down with drastic OEE Improvements.

Aus meiner Sicht würde eine bessere Standardisierung von Schnittstellen zwischen mehreren EDV-Systemen eine bidirektionale Kommunikation wesentlich erleichtern oder gar überhaupt ermöglichen. Sowohl in der Industrie, als auch im Gesundheitswesen ist es ein extrem aufwändiger, langer, extrem teuerer und oft auch scheiternder Prozess, wenn die Hersteller miteinander zu kommunizierenden Systeme ein Interface aufsetzen müssen. In meiner Anfangszeit im Industrieumfeld fingen wir noch an selbst Systeme zu programmieren, heute müssen wir meist auf starre Produkte setzen, deren Hersteller meist gar nicht mehr auf Kundenanforderungen hören und deren Vernetzung oft ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit ist und den Traum einer Automation scheitern lassen.
