My experience "dealing with" downtime has always been: 1. Look at, analyse and review the current situation and learn it. 2. After reviewing the issue by testing and gaining information, I started to evaluate what I would change to the opinion, what to change, and what to have. 3. The process as it exists can be changed or updated, so my steps were to test other options and compare them to the issue. 4. Analyzing it provided my IT with a testing mode and comparing what the system is now and how it will look (operate) after changes. My point is; Could you look at the issue, implement a temporary solution, and design and test the corrected/new configuration system? YES.
