Yes, I would address it by having an open conversation to understand the root cause, setting clear expectations, and establishing a tracking system for deadlines. If needed, I would provide support or training to improve time management.

1. Set SMART goals to clarify responsibilities. 2. Use task management tools like Trello for better tracking. 3. Schedule weekly one-on-one meetings to discuss progress. 4. Recognize achievements to boost motivation.

To my belief and experience, managing home (even if you are living alone) apart from job requires huge amount of time, space, mental balance between juggles of life and discipline! Some ways to deal with such a situation. 1. Understanding the Ecosystem of the team member is the first step! 2. You have to be extremely patient and empathetic, you may be available during office hours the other person might have to “sometimes” attend to something at home! 3. After you have done the above, have focused open conversation at intervals, provide right support. 4. Give the team member some time to deliver, have regular check ins and 5. Meet F2F once in 3/6 months! If nothing improves probably it’s a case of misfit (for the org and talent)

Balancing Structure, Empathy & Accountability Missed deadlines need a structured yet empathetic approach. Here’s what works: Set Clear Expectations 🕒: Deadlines are commitments. Break goals into milestones and emphasize their organizational impact. Foster Regular Check-Ins 🔄: Weekly syncs uncover bottlenecks early, offering chances to realign priorities. Equip and Empower 🛠️: Provide tools, training, and resources to improve organization and efficiency. Celebrate Wins 🎉: Recognize progress with PeerFives to foster encouragement and positivity. Trust and proactive support turn challenges into growth opportunities.

We do not face challenges related to missed deadlines because my remote resources are extremely active and engaged. The key factor contributing to this smooth operation is our constant and effective communication through our group. We are always connected, which ensures that everyone stays on track, tasks are completed on time, and potential issues are addressed promptly. This level of collaboration helps maintain productivity and ensures that deadlines are consistently met without delays.
