Here's how I would handle it: 1) Focus on urgent tasks first (like grading or meetings) and set aside time for lesson planning. Organize tasks by importance. 2) Get help from teaching assistants, office staff, or students for routine tasks like organizing materials or grading. 3) Use digital tools (like gradebooks or communication platforms) to automate tasks and save time.

I am an advocate for work life balance, so I am to NEVER stay back late or take work home with me. Lessons should always come first, as learning should be the priority. I never reinvent the wheel when planning, I always tweak what I have done previously- this is a time saver. I have recently incorporated the use of AI into planning and creating resources to save myself time to use on other tasks. I always create a to do list every day and prioritise three tasks- if things happen throughout the day that prevent me getting those done, then those tasks are back at the top of the list for the following day. If you cannot make an administrative deadline - renegotiate a time when it can get done. Advocate for yourself, don’t burn yourself out.

Some tips which I generally take care 1. Start making a note of work to be done. 2. Strike out those which you complete . Keep very simple this way you have list of those work which are pending as well as those which are done .Write down all the urgent non-urgent , important and not-important pending and completed work.
