If I lose à key client, I would first analyze the situation to understand what went wrong and try as much to learn from it. I won't give up on the client just yet and so, I would reach out to the client to maintain goodwill. I would strengthen my relationships and services with other existing clients to ensure their satisfaction. Also, focus on generating new leads through marketing and networking. I would stay proactive and find ways to turn the "setback" into an opportunity for growth.
