Then, if clarification is required, ask for it while avoiding defensiveness and concentrating on solutions. Divide positive criticism into doable objectives for development. To acquire perspective, rely on your network of friends, mentors, and coworkers. To regain confidence, remember accomplishments and strong points. Criticism identifies opportunities for improvement rather than defining value. One will become more competent, self-aware, and prepared to succeed if one maintains resilience.

When I face harsh criticism, First of all, I meditate for some time & then I remind myself to separate the feedback from my sense of self-worth. I start by calmly reflecting on the criticism—what's valid, what’s not—and focus on improving where needed. Next, I talk to a trusted mentor or colleague to gain perspective and support. Finally, I channel my energy into action through healing. I also use the feedback as a stepping stone to grow and deliver better results. For me, criticism is an opportunity to learn and come back stronger."

Set some time aside for: -Not dismissing yourself and what you are experiencing. Allow yourself to go through self-compassion. -Practice 5 min of guided mindfulness activity that will help decrease the in-the-moment stress and allow reflection at what the facts are. -Recognize what are your needs at the moment: physiologically and mentally for example, a brief walk, drink water, use bathroom- honor those. -Do not internalize the negative feedback as a personal inherent failing rather at what needs to improve/change in life and at work. This will allow for stress management in that specific moment and then continue caring for your needs.

Handling criticism and feedback is an art, if one knows how to use it for personal growth. here is what I have learnt over years and I do; - Always take a few breaths to make sure your mind and emotions are centered and neutral - View the situation as a third person or observer instead of being into it, this reduces immediate that builds up during conversation - If something hits hard, always be sure to reiterate in lighter and simpler words as it reduces intensity - Always reflect on situation and break actions down to tasks that can be closed easily

Know that the remark is only that a person's opinion. Knowing yourself well enough to not believe it as a negitive is your power
