Demystifying data privacy in telecommunications can be challenging, but simplifying complex policies helps clients understand their importance and implementation. Here’s how to break it down:

The whole assumption that security with Telecom operators is different than other clients is misleading! It is even simpler knowing the volume, importance and sensitivity of data within the context of Telecom operation. Telecom operators took great transformation initiatives from legacy, at network and operations levels. The introduction from CTO into CTIO is one of the obvious proofs on theses initiatives. The most fundamental difficulty was at technology level and mainly migrating networks from circuit switching into packet switching, and the most difficult phase was moving from 2G into 3G. That paved the way to converge into IT addressing challenges coming from OTT suppliers, making it, with the right CTIO, even simpler!
