This helps uncover their true challenges honestly and increases your chances of closing more proposals.

Why was I unsuccessful as this will help me understand going forward and to adapt the way I present future opportunities to clients. Most clients will give you feed back. I also always leave the conversation / correspondence with the passing sentence - that should the proposal they have chosen, not turn out to be the right one for them, I am more than happy to represent my proposal for them! As long as any negative feedback is taken in a positive manner - you are still talking to the customer/client and that’s got to be a good thing?
