Show appreciation through e-cards, gifts etc. If a client has brought you amazing business and has been a dream to work with, show it - sending e-cards or a gift basket or bottle of wine is a small gesture that goes a long way. 3. Recognise how great they're doing! If a client has done something awesome, or if your work together is doing really well - mention it! Everyone loves a little praise :) 4. Ensure that you keep them in the loop in tough times! If you aren't able to meet a deadline / you have an emergency make sure they know. Open, honest communication is key to a great relationship.
