use visually engaging content like simulations, animations, and real-time mission data to illustrate complex concepts simply. Tailor the technical depth based on the audience—use high-level insights for general audiences and dive deeper into engineering aspects like propulsion systems or spacecraft design for technical groups. Storytelling, such as relating past mission successes and future exploration goals, adds an emotional connection. However, balancing this with technical accuracy is crucial to avoid oversimplification. While visuals and stories engage, they must complement solid facts and data to maintain credibility among experts.

This is more a speaking question rather than something related to space exploration, astronomy, or cosmology. Having said that, the best means to get attention in your speaking is to demonstrate enthusiasm and love for space exploration. Like any other topic, speak from the heart. It will be natural, and your passion will show. Another thing to consider is using visual aids. However, don’t go overboard. Your visual aids are supposed to help your speaking. If you just started narrating live with a million pictures, why didn’t you make a video? Speaking in general has its challenges. Breathe, relax, and forget about how many people are in front of you. You feel the passion of your favorite subject. Take the mic and speak from the heart!

A quick idea is to use videos of travel to different parts of the earth - Africa, New Zealand, Thailand, China, Andes Mountains, Amazon River, etc. (this will help include the diverse audience) asking questions about discovering these areas of the planet and then ask how would you like to discover space? Using the videos gives the audience examples of exploration and then the videos of space show the vastness of space and what is out there to explore.
