One important thing that we kept in mind when did our office redesign was making sure we had ALL stakeholders involved from the beginning. The reality is that workplace transformation is an activity that touches soooo many groups - corporate real estate, facilities, IT, HR, sustainability teams, finance, brand & marketing, sales/product teams, etc... Since each of those groups have a stake in this their opinion is important! But if you don't engage with these groups upfront, it's just a disruption waiting to happen! So my advice is to have the cross-functional team identified and involved early. 💪

In context of a workplace 𝙧𝙚-𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣, it is important to ensure BAU and maintain productivity. Set up temporary workspaces. These can be off-site satellite locations to accommodate teams that need in-office space during construction periods. Identify essential operations. Work in partnership with HR and business teams to prioritise relocation and ensure continuation during the redesign and fit-out phase. Finally, as with any project - be prepared for change. Schedule a cadence with stakeholders to update progress, address issues, and make necessary adjustments.
