In my experience: 1) Present less than 25 slides make sure you use less than an hour 2) Less graphics, more visual elements - people absorbs message in different ways. A lot of graphics in a row is tiring and you may lose the attention of important people in your audience. 3) Choose well your messages. In a very good presentation people will remember a total maximum of 3 big messages you said. Its not just about the insights you present; its how you prepare people to receive them.
