One time at work, I faced a challenge while presenting proposals due to the lack of clear requirements from our stakeholders. They only had a general idea of the process they wanted. So, to earn their trust and having a perspective of adding value, I researched best practices from other companies and agencies for the process they had in mind. I then presented tailored features that could enhance efficiency and meet their needs. So far, it worked out for me because I built a good relationship with them and earned their trust.

To build trust with stakeholders on complex software design proposals, I prioritize open and clear communication. I break down each part of the proposal in a way that connects to their goals, making it easier to understand. I keep them updated regularly and am honest about any challenges we face, along with possible solutions. I invite their feedback at every step, showing that their input matters. By hitting small milestones and showing real progress early on, I help them feel confident that we’re moving in the right direction.
