This subject is very important in the manufacturing organizations wherein huge supply chain is involved. Many components are coming from overseas and their lead time varies from 2-5 months. The components which are domestically sourced are also having lead time of 1-2 months. This is very important to manage the intertwining of programs to avoid the chaos and obsolescence cost. Some of my thoughts: 1.Project Time-Have the clear cut project time plan and see the intertwining areas 2.Validation, Homologation, PM E drive (EVs) S/W- Try to combine to these activities and save the the separate costs 3.Have a clear PFEP (plan for every part) and check the common components 4.Have a deep dive with supply chain team to look at the ordering plan.
