When I was in college, I faced this predicament. It isn't easy to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, so I decided to prioritize. 9/10 times, a good project is more important and you can develop your skillset with a programming language using that project. So what I would do first is: - Spend a few hours up to a couple of days to learn the basics of the programming language. This can take the form of a whole tutorial or reviewing a quick cheat sheet depending on your programming familiarity. - Start designing and working on your project with the language you want to learn in mind and focus on building the project. You can choose frameworks that are geared towards that programming language in the process. - Have fun to stay motivated!
