Never had backstage chaos, only egos. If you plan,do your pre production then you can resolve any conflict by simply producing the email chain you spent time on to ensure everyone knows what’s happening. Mind you if AI ran the backstage like these questions we would have no industry to speak of.

Delegate tasks that each performer enjoys and give them a unique opportunity and distraction to express their creativity rather than focus on the stagnations - this will move their attention and thinking process into the process and enjoy the journey as it’s not always the end point - it’s the journey and connectedness that’s important

Pre production is everything. Know your performers needs. Manage your time well. It never fails though, someone will throw you curve ball at the last minute. Keep your cool and just roll with it.

Listen to All Sides: When a conflict arises, give each party an opportunity to explain their perspective without interruptions. 3. Stay Neutral: Avoid taking sides. As a manager, it’s important to mediate and not appear biased. 4. Address Conflicts Privately: If possible, handle the conflict away from the public eye or other performers. Private discussions allow for more open conversations and reduce unnecessary drama 5. Set Boundaries and Solutions: Once a resolution is reached, set clear boundaries and steps that should taken to prevent the same issue from reoccurring.

Make sure everyone has their rider. Don't mess with set times and order. And plenty of ego massage.. [this sentence is filler to get to min character length for posts]

Organise properly, have buffer time and then mediate the requests making the performers subtly aware that they are part of an event with a collective purpose. We are humans and if any absurdities appear, at least I know who to invite next time. I would say that management during the event comes with very good preparation before the event. Anything else, is solvable.

1.Don't offer the world, then you will not be expected to provide it. Make sure you are aware of your limitations and make it clear to artist management. 2. Delegate correctly. Make sure that there is a team responsible for managing artist requests/requirements, and create deadlines for requests - pre show. 3. Use clear language. Using phrases like "I'll look into it" or "maybe, let me check" only tends to frustrate people as they know it is a delay to an answer, rather than a firm "no, that is not possible I'm sorry." or say "I'll have someone look into this immediately" if it is within the realm of possibilities. 4. Being firm and direct with performers and their team shows experience and expertise, not rudeness.

En este oficio la intuición es clave: ese instinto que te lleva a prever y minimizar, de la manera más precisa posible, el margen de error en cada producción. Antes que tener que gestionar una situación incómoda es mejor siempre evitarla, y para ello hay que adelantarse o no dejar que se precipite. Tener todas las posibles variables contempladas o acotadas a priori ayuda mucho si se acaban dando conflictos. En definitiva, dejar el mínimo espacio a la improvisación. Aún así, llegados a este punto: serenidad, coherencia, rigor y toda la flexibilidad que se pueda!
