My mantra has been to prioritize the partners. Always focus on partners who shall stay with you in a longer run. Sometimes the asks from partners are difficult and also untimely. The amount of efforts you put may not reflect in the output expected, and that wastes a lot of your efforts! Hence, always ask, ask more questions and judge if it’s worth if you are getting pulled in any ask by the partner

It really depends on a couple things. How important is the partner channel in your business? How important is the partner relative to other partners? How important is the request? And like another responder said, drill into whether the demand is a want or a need and how urgent it is to them, and why.
