For me, managing the stress of multiple high-priority tasks scheduled for the next morning, begins with a wind-down routine the night before. Celebrating my wins for the day, listing the order I plan to approach my morning tasks and then calming myself with a shower and a soothing cup of tea signals my body it's time to rest. Quality sleep calms my nervous system allowing me to wake feeling refreshed, clear-headed and with enough energy to tackle my list. A nutrient-dense breakfast and supplements like ginko biloba and some B vitamins help me to focus and strategize. As I work, at the first sign of feeling tension in my body, I'll pause and take 3 intentional breaths to bring me back to center, allowing me to re-focus on a single task.
