I believe that having a tool to help you keep track of your contacts and support you on following up with clients is crucial. This is very helpful ir order not to lose time. In addition, you have to be always honest and transparent with your client, as this will reinforce the trustworthy relationship you are creating or mantaining with him/her. Keeping the client in the loop and informed about the next steps has proven to be very effective to manage client's expectations as well.
