The solution for this requires time, patience, & humility. First, own the mistake and issue an authentic apology. Don't even try to shift the blame to others. NO “sorry, not sorry” apologies that I often see businesses post after similar mishaps. And yes, people know when you use ChatGPT. Use Grammarly, if you want, but let the words and thought be your own. Be transparent. People are smarter than you think. Many will see through any ass-covering attempt. Make sure there are consequences for the guilty party, if there are any. That shows remorse. Be mindful & strive to do better moving forward. People can be forgiving of 1 slip up but if it's becoming a habit, people will remember. If they don’t at first, the internet will remind them.
