I'm old fashioned and usually draw the big picture and key details, on paper first. Just to proceed and get an better overview my self, of all the details before, as it helps before starting construction. Sometimes you need a different perspective, not visually but mentally to check your thoughts

I usually prefer a closed loop for validation of CAD designs. CAD to Drawing and back to CAD from the drawing through different verifiers. This takes some time but can eliminate costly CAD errors from propagating further into a project where they are more costly and harder to correct.

You should think like production. If your drawing not clear understandable in 5 minute and misreading. If production still has ways to bypass design solutions your drawing is weak.

En estos momentos no contar con la plataforma para la administracion de documentos es una limitante en el control y congelamiento de versiones de dibujos, sin embargo esto poco tiene que ver con agilizar los metodos, en los mismos programas de diseño hay operaciones y herramientas que permiten verificar si se estan usando todos los globos señalando partes y subensambles, metodos estandarizados para colocar vistas, listas de materias y las secciones de corte requeridas, ayudar tanto al proceso de dibujar como al de revisar, tambien implementar rutinas donde solo se usan las hojas necesarias para un dibujo rediciendo las paginas a revisar ayuda mucho en el proceso.

Use SolidWorks to create drawings quickly and make modifications easily and efficiently after receiving comments. Before sending for approval, review the drawings yourself for any minor corrections.

I basically doing programming and lisp for speed. I believe people who don’t know and not using programming and lisp are same as time consuming machine. If your are working 2 days for 1 big task. The same task you can finish in 2/3 hours with lisp and programming. Thanks me later
