Escalate the problem to the higher team if you cannot resolve the issue within time. If available, switch to backup or redundant systems while you work on the primary infrastructure. Always have clear & transparent communication with stakeholders. After resolving the issue, a thorough post-mortem is conducted to identify the root cause and take corrective action to prevent future outages. Ensure any lessons learned are documented and shared with the team. These strategies help reduce panic, improve resolution time, and minimize the impact of the outage on business OPs.

My experience during a critical network outage pushed me to a severe challenge. A key point was quickly analysing a situation by opening it as a general and large-scale issue and trying to push a temporary solution to investigate what is happening. The next step was to prepare testing, evaluate the issue, and incorporate any possible workarounds or fixes into the testing process.
