Always remember that we're all here on the same boat, to improve together. You should also be ready to compromise if needed. This is so that they would agree with your teaching approach. You should also try to listen to their teaching approach. This is so that you would be able to understand how your approach differs from theirs.

Collaborating with colleagues who have different teaching styles is an opportunity to create a richer learning environment. One approach I’ve found effective is co-designing lessons that leverage each other's strengths, such as pairing hands-on activities with conceptual discussions to cater to diverse student needs. Additionally, observing each other’s classes and providing constructive feedback fosters mutual growth and understanding. My personal experience is that I have a student who sibling is taught by another tutor (same agency) and we would discuss together the break time since they like to be together, along the way we observe each other teaching style and support each other.

If the divergence between teaching methods is impacting students' learning, I believe the team should meet to first address aspects such as: 1) What is the basis of each teaching method? 2) Are the learning objectives being achieved with each of these methods? It is also important for teachers to understand and consider that the way of learning has changed, that there are communication and information technologies that can enhance learning, and that the integration of active methodologies is essential. I believe that in a diverse team, members can contribute to one another—not to arrive at a single teaching method, but rather to find one that best facilitates students' learning in the current context.
