- **Break down tasks**: Prioritize your to-do list and tackle one item at a time to avoid overwhelm.
- **Set boundaries**: Communicate your limits to your team and ask for support or extensions when necessary.

1. Prioritize tasks that are critical. Approach them first. 2. Communicate the status of these important tasks with your manager. 3. Don't exceed more than 12 hours of work in a day as it may drive you insane.

✅Adotei pausas, que me ajudam a retomar o foco e evitar o desgaste.

:) seriously. "TRIPLED" We need to be realistic at work. Whatever humanly possible without affecting your health, we should plan only that much. Cut down everything else. Business, timelines, all those needs time, resources, money. Its not one person job, to run systems. All factors should be managed properly the industry runs. Do only that much is practical, and explain what can be done, and what cannot be done. THanks.

When facing a sudden increase in workload, it’s important to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Assess each task's urgency and importance, breaking larger projects into smaller, manageable steps. Delegating tasks or seeking assistance where possible can help distribute the load. Regular breaks and maintaining a balance between work and personal life are crucial to avoid burnout. Clear communication with stakeholders about expectations and deadlines ensures alignment, while staying organized and focused allows you to meet objectives without compromising well-being.

Check and review what is high priority/high impact. Review others on the list, check if there is scope to change timeline/delivery. Share the workload with your manager, ensure they are aware of your assessment of high priority & impact. Outline the steps taken to reduce/re-prioritise other asks - ensuring your manager supports the approach & covers escalations. Review and discuss the volume & timelines for high priority asks with your manager. Seek additional support - perhaps there is capacity elsewhere that can help? Be clear as you are dealing with high volume/high impact you are unavailable for other work - your manager will help support your communication. Chunk the asks to see progress as you go. Communicate regularly on progress.

Sometimes workloads can spike, hopefully just for a short period, but during those times, setting boundaries is key. Burning the candle at both ends isn’t a sustainable strategy - something has to give. It’s okay to let your friends and family know you won’t be as available until you meet your deadlines. Burnout often happens when we don’t take care of ourselves or set clear boundaries. The last thing you want is to be swamped at work and then end up in an argument with a partner because you’ve let them down. Be open about what you can and can’t commit to - communicating honestly can make all the difference.
