Learning how to scrum / implement an agile workflow allows for finding this balance within a team and completely changed the way I approach projects. By focusing on two-week workflows with tickets requiring a clear definition of done, team members are able to create and iterate within a set wireframe that allows for quick feedback. Creatives can pilot new features while instructional designers align the content to the educational goals, but everybody moves the needle and reports back in these set two-week periods.

Instructional design is really like solving a puzzle, people mistook it for; we are just trainers or instructors or course creator etc. but no, we are really out here trying to solve a puzzle. I don't like saying "I am making a training or course" I would always refer to it as " I am solving a problem or gap or need". That being said; every person of my team would have crucial role in the success of this puzzle we are solving. From SMEs and content writers to E-Learning devs to video editors or animators to graphics designer etc. they all play an important role. Rather than overwhelming one with a lot of thing, make sure the person is getting assigned the relevant work, that's how you find balance and less conflict during the L&D process.

If your instructional design has too many answers that only accept one answer, you're probably doing it wrong (outside of laws of universe - math/science). Instead, encourage answers that are less important than the reason they chose those answers. Ask yourself and them, "Why do believe that?" It inspires much more creativity and reasoning, but also wraps back to the instructional design component.
