Encourage regular communication through team meetings, one-on-ones, or brainstorming sessions to discuss ideas and challenges. By nature, most humans have hesitancy of openly sharing/ talking about weaknesses, roadblocks and challenges being faced by them. Reasons? Others being judgmental of this and concerned individual/s marked or labelled as weak. Leaders need to lead by giving their personal example of facing adversities along their journey and failures that taught them lessons. Engage in open house discussions/ talks and let people be frank in confessing and talking about problems being encountered and fresh ideas they may have in minds. It is by creating a positive environment that mutual trust and confidence will be built in an organization that values its people. Let youngsters also talk and not old timers all the time win decisive battles.
