To keep the team engaged during remote AR project meetings, structure is key. Start with a clear agenda and defined goals to maintain focus. Incorporate interactive elements like demos, quick polls, or brainstorming sessions to make discussions dynamic. Rotate responsibilities so everyone contributes, and tailor the meeting length to avoid fatigue. Leverage AR itself—use immersive visuals or prototypes to make the project tangible. Lastly, encourage open dialogue and celebrate small wins to foster connection and motivation.

Ah, the classic “zoom fatigue” – we’ve all been there! 🎥😅 Here’s how to spice things up: Start with a quick icebreaker: A fun poll or a quick "show and tell" can get everyone warmed up! 🎉 Keep it interactive: Use AR demos, live polls, or Q&A sessions to make the content pop! 👾 Break it into chunks: Keep meetings short and sweet, with clear goals for each segment. 🕒 Switch up roles: Let everyone take turns leading discussions or running a small activity. 🤹♂️

Change the focus immediately. Break and have participants share thoughts and ideas on what would make this time more effective. Leverage the focus.

Remote work is something that takes skill to implement properly. I am just the messenger here, but these things must be said. Force users to turn on their camera, do not allow microphones to be muted except for short periods such as a cough, give out Starbucks gift cards monthly and encourage remote workers to go into public once a day for coffee or otherwise, maintain and encourage active time management before, during, and after the meeting. Reinforce this concept over and over until it is followed. A meeting should not be missed without adequate advanced notice, during the meeting focus is expected only upon the meeting, and meetings must remain on time using an agenda with each topic allotted a specific time frame for discussion, etc.

To maintain focus during remote AR project meetings, ensure clarity and interaction. Set a concise agenda with specific outcomes and share it in advance. Use visual aids, like AR prototypes or mockups, to keep discussions dynamic and relevant. Assign roles or responsibilities, like presenting updates or moderating Q&A, to involve everyone. Break sessions into shorter, focused blocks to avoid fatigue, and use collaboration tools to make the process interactive and productive.
