I have experienced project where transparency has been the the project. Conversely if you don't have transparency team members will spend time wondering why thinks are being hidden or if they are being excluded for some reason. It starts with a Team Lead creating an open and collaborative culture. Driving a good culture will lead to better productivity and reducing assumptions. To do this I recommend a project management tool to streamline tasks and define responsibilities. Then an Agile framework will keep the team on track and accountable for their part. Finally always celebrating the wins little or big.
