This is a non-sequitur of a question. Project management is not about specific knowledge of the of the technology used in delivering a project. You can and should procure the technical expertise required and it doesn’t need to reside in your team. What your team need to understand is the market conditions (regulations and T&Cs of any off take agreements etc) that they will be delivering the end product of the project into. Most renewable projects are intermittent in nature so understanding how to manage that and monetize the output in an optimal way is the key. This requires a deep understanding of energy markets rather than an understanding of renewables.
