Relax time is a benefit during a project. My approach is to evaluate a situation, count and analyse possible pros and cons, and design a temporary "slow down" process. The point is that a stressful situation works for nobody, and showing relaxation and respect provides a once-a-balanced place to colonise the project.

By setting challenging yet achievable project goals and managing stakeholder expectations, scope creep can be prevented, reducing pressure on the team. Additionally, scheduling regular breaks and encouraging time off can boost productivity and creativity. Implementing "no meeting" blocks during peak hours provides team members uninterrupted time for focused work.

The best way to handle this situation is to keep the surrounding environment light. Create a window for joyous moments during serious discussions. Few of the methods I find useful are: 1. The most important thing I find is to calm yourself down first. Once in control, communicate with team, tell them it's a temporary phase which will pass out. Remind them about the purpose of the work and value extraction out of it. 2. Encourage little personal talks. Ask them how are they doing. Ask about their family well-being. 3. Discuss something out of the work, some new technology going around in market and its importance. How it can help the ongoing project. Talking something out of work helps keeping one's mind calm and fresh.

Create "no-meeting Wednesdays" for deep work, and make it clear that "urgent" doesn't always mean "do it now." When someone's working late, don't just say "take time off later" - discuss it and make sure they block their calendar for recovery time. Remember, your team's creativity runs on rest, not Red Bull. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is close the laptop and go for a walk. Take care of your people, and the projects will take care of themselves!
