Encouraging cross-functional collaboration also keeps things dynamic, giving way to new and fresh ideas. Ultimately, when people see the value of their work beyond tasks, they stay engaged.

In order for your team to be motivated, they must be part of the problem-solving process. In addition, the leader must find a way to bring the team together, perhaps through activities outside the company, to increase motivation and cohesion.
