I assess the urgency and impact of their requests, ensuring their needs align with their goals, while still giving other clients the attention they deserve. Clear communication is key—I set realistic expectations about timelines and outcomes, so everyone feels valued. Time-blocking is my go-to for carving out dedicated slots for each client without compromising quality. In addition to setting boundaries and prioritizing, I try to learn why my client is demanding top priority. Once I understand this - through curiosity, radical acceptance, and empathy - I can usually accommodate by providing an environment in which, through my coaching, the client feels like my top priority. I remember their stories; their feelings; their goals. I remind them who they are & who I've come to know them to be. I point out patterns, themes, and I recall past events to show that I've always been listening and caring about them. Typically, this shows them that I really do think of them as my priority. Many are surprised to learn that I have dozens of clients at a time because they feel like I give them singular attention.
