Data entry tasks which are on-going and need to be done in real time (eg creating a service ticket) are good candidate to automate as it is challenging to staff the shifts round the clock. Similarly, the peak seasonal tasks (eg Xmas holiday sales, tax returns etc) are worth automating as machines can be scaled up and down as needed unlike human beings (or temp workers)
